Modena is a city of excellence, offering countless gastronomic specialities such as sliced meats, Parmigiano (parmesan) cheese, Balsamic Vinegar, and Tortellini, alongside famed sports cars built by Ferrari and Maserati, exceptional people such as Enzo Ferrari, Luciano Pavarotti, and (one of the city’s latest) Massimo Bottura, as well as thriving businesses such as Panini (stickers), ceramics (the Modena ceramics district is the world capital), precision mechanics, and biomedicals, to name but a few of the most significant sectors.
In short, Modena is a land of talent, a land where much is expected and delivered, where we work with passion and commitment to create original, often unique and always top-end products.
From this hotbed of excellences comes a wine that is similarly unique, a wine which cannot be reproduced anywhere else, a wine called Lambrusco. Extremely unusual, age-old vines growing in the climate and soils of this land offer the ideal conditions for making sparkling wines. Here, skilled hands have expertly created the symbol of Emilia, Lambrusco. Those varieties with the superior characteristics, such as Sorbara, Grasparossa, and Salamino rank, quite rightly, among the Italian wine elite.
