The Gavi di Gavi from the Piedmont wine-growing region reveals itself in the glass in a brilliantly shimmering platinum yellow. The first nose of the Gavi di Gavi reveals nuances of kumquats, limes and lemons. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by sun-warmed stone and forest floor.
This white wine from Gian Piero Marrone is just right for those who like it dry. However, it is never austere or brittle, but round and smooth. This light white wine is light-footed and complex on the palate. Thanks to its vital fruit acidity, Gavi di Gavi is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this youthful white wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region, Gavi DOCG to be precise, is convincing with a good aftertaste.
Vinification of the Gian Piero Marrone Gavi di Gavi
This elegant white wine from Italy is vegan and made from the Cortese grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. Once the wine is finished, the Gavi di Gavi is carefully harmonized.
