The vegan Solaris Moscato d’Asti from the pen of Gian Piero Marrone flows into the glass with a brilliant platinum yellow color. With a little time in the glass, this white wine from the Old World offers wonderfully expressive aromas of honeysuckle, orange blossom, cherry blossom and acacia, rounded off with black tea, cinnamon and oriental spices.
The light-footed Gian Piero Marrone Solaris Moscato d’Asti shows us an incredibly fruity taste on the palate, which is not without reason due to its residual sweet taste profile. On the palate, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly creamy texture. Thanks to its moderate fruit acidity, Solaris Moscato d’Asti has a pleasant mouthfeel without lacking in juicy liveliness. The finish of this youthful white wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region, more precisely from Asti DOCG, ultimately impresses with a good aftertaste.
Vinification of Solaris Moscato d’Asti by Gian Piero Marrone
The basis for the elegant Solaris Moscato d’Asti from Piedmont are grapes from the Moscatel grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Solaris Moscato d’Asti can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months. Once the wine is finished, the Solaris Moscato d’Asti is carefully harmonized.
