“Intense red, fresh, very fruity and bursting with youth. With notes of red fruits, raspberries and strawberries, and subtle floral aromas.” —winemaker |

“This shows aromas of ripe, fleshy plums, baking spices, dried citrus peel and wet stones. Medium-to full-bodied with delicious blue fruit, glossy tannins and a creamy texture. Ripe and mellow, yet with fresh and crunchy character. Flavorful finish. Vegan. Drink or hold.” —James Suckling |
A blend of 60% Garnacha and 40% Syrah from vines aged 20-65 years old in the gravelly soils of Carinena, Spain. The wine is vegan friendly.
The 2021 Esteban Martin Garnacha Syrah opens with very ripe, sweet and jammy aromas of fleshy red and black fruit with a touch of spice.
The wine tastes smooth and not as sweet as I was expecting from the nose, but it’s definitely not totally dry.
